Blue & White

GRD, f5, 1/400, ISO 400, JPG

Sometimes it pays to take a different route to your destination. Like today, when I took a different way around Smithfield's Market and discovered this door. It looks great and I really like the texture. I added more contrast and sharpened it to get the texture to stand out more.

  3. Yes! I like this one. Smithfield is a great location - though just a shadow of its former self.

  4. Thanks for your comments!

Tommy, I use the LC1 with default settings for the JPG parameters.
The R10 is a fantastic camera if you are aware of it's limitations, look at the samples in my review to see how it performs. It is very small, very versatile and right now can be had for a very good price, too.

Yesbuts, I don't know how Smithfields used to look before but the derelict buildings around it give it a very interesting feel.

  6. Thanks Bhuminan, I am glad you got intrigued by this picture. Sometimes simple things can make a veryinteresting picture due to their color, shape, texture or all of this together.
